Cleaning by the Block Doctor

The cleaning of block paving and flag stones are best carried out using high powered pressure washers, smaller washers will clean sufficiently but it can be a laborious task due to the smaller jet width. Our high powered pressure washers range from 30 bar to 200 bar, 200 psi to 3000 psi.

Pressure Washer Easy Clean Machine

We also use our high powered rotary cleaning device's, as this will give a uniform clean and avoids stripes caused by using a lance and Irregular jet height.

After cleaning any type of block paving we always recommend and carry out re-sanding of the joint before any vehicles move over the area. This will ensure that the blocks interlock and prevent any movement that can lead to blocks moving and sinking. The paving will need to be completely dry before this is carried out.
